Nice set up to draw you into reading further.
Also very effective was the use of pictures of the book pages... makes you feel like you are actually reading the book rather than a sample page or manuscript page... if that makes sense.
thanks, susan. i wondered if the pages worked. i thought maybe they should have been pdf files, but i also had a feeling they went with the blog.
Great setup and introduction of character. The tension is palpable and we want to get on with the story. Nice foreshadowing.
