Okay - either I'm losing it, or there's a face in the glass at the window. Eerie. 4 mos to the day and counting.
YIKES! I see it too!
yesterday i was going through photos and i had two very similar shots of another house, this one abandoned. i decided to put one of the photos in the trash. as soon as i hit the trash button, i saw a fairly clear face in a window. too late to save. the similar photo also has a face, but it's not nearly as clear. more like this one. i'll have to post it later.
yeah, i'm not sure i can keep this up for 4 months! but i'll try. it's a fine line -- I don't want to give TOO much of the plot away, but at the same time I want people to remain interested.
I'm glad it wasn't just me.
So far it's working - I'm not in the least bored, I don't feel like you've given away too much, and you've whetted my apetite so much that I went out and bought Before I Wake.
I'm going to look at that picture again. Too bad about the other one.
I see the face too, but when I enlarge the photo it looks like a painting or portrait on the wall. I agree with Eve, I don't think you're giving too much of the plot away. :)
eve and jeff: i isolated and enlarged the photo, but i need to find the original jpeg -- not the web version. too blurry! but you can still see the face. :D
eve: not sure you should start with before i wake. a lot of people hated that book! just warning you! some think it was too far-fetched and fractured.
